WHO CAN JOIN?
Interested participants must fill out the Online Registration Form through bit.ly/KFFSignUpSheet from June 30, 2020 – July 31, 2020.
Each team must be composed of members aged 16 to 22 years old, maximum of ten (10) members only.
A team with members below 18 years old must submit a parental consent form.
All entries must be in narrative fiction and adhere to the theme “Adapting for a Sustainable Future.”
The running time of each entry should be between five (5) and seven (7) minutes only, including the title cards and the credits.
This Klima Film Festival is part of the OML Center’s Balangay Project which aims to chronicle the stories of the changing climate in the context of the Filipino experience and how it has shaped the Filipino identity and culture.
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Climate Change Commission's Klima Film Festival (KFF). The KFF is being held in collaboration with the Oscar M. Lopez Center (OML Center) as part of its Balangay Project, which aims to chronicle the stories of the changing climate in the context of the Filipino experience and how it has shaped the Filipino identity and culture.
As one of the most vulnerable countries to the impacts of climate change, it is imperative to communicate the impacts of the changing climate, and the importance of adaptation and mitigation, to arrest the catastrophic effects of climate change. CCC looks forward to the perspectives and inputs of Filipino youth from all over the country in bringing their stories of climate change to the big screen.
General Eligibility Information:
1. Each team must be composed of members who are aged between 16 to 22 years old, maximum of ten (10) members only. A member who is aged 15 at the time of registration may still join as long as he/she will reach the age of 16 during the film festival. A team with members below 18 years old must submit a parental consent form.
2. All teams are required to attend the climate change seminar-workshop and participate in all climate film lab activities, which will be conducted online.
3. All entries must be in narrative fiction and adhere to the theme “Adapting for a Sustainable Future”. Entries should be originally made and adhere to the MTRCB Rated-G classification on movies.
6. Entries may be in any (Philippine) language, but must have English or Filipino subtitles.
7. The entries can be shot and edited using any device provided that the resolution should be at least 1080p.
8. The running time of each entry should be between five (5) and seven (7) minutes only, including the title cards and the credits.
